Title: アンティーク Title (romaji): Antique or Antique Cake Store Genre: Comedy Episodes: 11 Broadcast network: Fuji TV Broadcast period: 2001-Oct-08 to 2001-Dec-17 File Size ~ 200MB-350MB Hard Subbed with English Synopsis from http://jdorama.comThis story is about four men who work in a confectionary. Tachibana Keiichiro (Shiina Kippei) is the owner; Ono Yusuke (Fujiki Naohito) is the superb baker that has a mysterious and mesmerizing aura; Kobayakawa Chikage (Abe Hiroshi) is the waiter and close bodyguard of Tachibana; and last but not least is Kanda Eiji (Takizawa Hideaki), the ex-boxer who loves cake so much that he becomes a waiter at 'Antique'. This is a refreshing, yet heartfelt comedy about the 4 very unique personalities that work until the wee hours of the night at the small confectionary. The series follows the romance, family life, and most importantly friendship that these 4 men from different generations experience. This is a confectionary with a "flavor" not like most. Located in the middle of an ordinary residential area, "Antique" stays open until 2 a.m. Every single thing in the shop is antique, in fact even the sherry glasses that water comes in look like they would cost 50,000 yen. On top of this, all the sweets that are sold are unbelievably delicious. The thing that is most peculiar about "Antique" though is that all 4 of the men that work here are very handsome, and each has an interesting past. Those that frequent the store also have a story to tell. A special note from G2: Well, LittleMafia needs her Tackey fix so here I am, enduring the pain of uploading to fulfill her ...wishes. Here are some more Tackey for you my friend Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3 Episode 4 Episode 5 Episode 6 Episode 7 Episode 8 Episode 9 Episode 10 Episode 11 Use HJSplit to join the filesEnjoy! Top

G2 Iam wondering if u have this drama with better quality .. i didin't like the quality of the drama .. i think it's not good .. pls help [/b] The video and sub quality is poor but the story is so good that it's well worth the struggle. A better video quality raw is available but no subs to go with it, but that is the way to go if you understand Japanese. Antique RAWS bit torrent files only a few are currently being seeded. @Kevn57: "it's well worth the struggle..." Ditto!!! Unless you want to re-do the subbings all over again with those raws. Unlikely! Top

I've read that Nya subs will be subbing the series eventually. =D May be a while since it's on the lower end of their priority list, but they do awesome subs. XD I'm looking forward to the better quality video and subs... since the tv and weird subs is what has been keeping me from watching the series about 4 times now. =\ I'll give it one more go... but I just wish the subs didn't read like they used google translator or something. To the OP: THANK YOU! I've been looking for links since I never really got around to watching the series and now a lot of links I've found are defunct. Even better, these aren't MU... Thanks so much! @Ginchou: You are very welcome. I was not too thrilled about uploading them but at least I could upload faster with Mediafire as compared with MU. Download it when you can. I don't know how long MF is going to keep my files @fuyu_no_hana: No half naked men's pictures are allowed on my post. Just kidding! You lost me there. What are you trying to say? Antique manga is also worth reading. BL is less subtle there. Top

Guess that makes the story more accessible to the wider audience of TV. How obvious will it be in the Korean movie version next year, do you suppose? Top

There'll be a movie version. It ought to be ...very uncomfortable for viewers of course if they are sticking close to the manga. I love the manga though. It is funnier as compared with the drama version. I don't think the movie version will work out. Top

I just watch Majo no Jouken and it leads me to this series next, honestly what exactly makes me curious about this series is the fact that it earns a lot of award in Japan including best drama and casting!!! Thanks for sharing it here, I was looking for it everywhere Top

You can find the series @ D-Addicts. http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/torrents.php?search=antique&type=&sub=View+all&sort= . It's complete. The fact that someone has subs for this is amzing finally. I dont have to watch the lowe res crappy subbed version from the TV station in Hawaii. To think this series and Trick got me into Abe Hiroshi. (the links is for the raws at least. I've only found one soft sub in there site for episode one. Top
